My work is focused on community. For decades, my work has focused on community health, equity, and giving people a fair chance to live healthy, stable lives. I have worked in neighborhood clinics, county hospitals, and community-based programs, and I now lead a regional health partnership that brings clinics and organizations together to serve low‑income and underserved residents. Every day I make decisions about budgets, priorities, and tradeoffs, and I do it with a constant awareness that behind every line item there are real people and real consequences.

My work experience translates directly to the work of the City Council. Morgan Hill is facing big questions about traffic and safety, housing and growth, and how we fund and protect the services that keep our city livable. I know how to listen to different perspectives, work across institutions, and craft practical solutions instead of slogans. I also understand that health is about more than clinics and hospitals—it is about safe streets, clean and welcoming public spaces, affordable homes, and a sense of belonging and fairness in how decisions are made.
I am running for City Council because I believe that District D deserves a representative who understands the needs of working families, seniors, and young people, and who knows how to navigate complex systems to meet those needs. I will make decisions rooted in both equity and common sense. I will use my experience to help Morgan Hill stay safe, welcoming, and sustainable for all of us.
Morgan Hill’s City Council District D is one of four council districts adopted as part of the city’s “Green” district map after the 2022 redistricting process. District D is essentially the “east side” district, covering much of the residential and hillside area east of Monterey Road and Butterfield Boulevard, with its limits set by the city boundary and major east–west streets.
